This oriental fragrance by Mariah Carey, named M, is captured in a very romantic and delicate bottle, designed by Jean Antretter. It was designed by two perfumers - Carlos Benaim and Loc Dong. Mariah comments on her first fragrance: "For me, creating this scent was like creating a song - it takes many notes to compose a fragrance.
Is Mariah a good perfume?All hail Mariah, the vocal acrobatics of All Want For Christmas Is You, and to a lesser extent... this perfume which is actually pretty ok. Wow!! So I got a bottle with the deep brown juice and I never expected this to be potent, but oh my, this has eternal longevity.
Is m by Mariah Carey good?But man, M by Mariah Carey is good. It certainly surpasses my expectation. Yes, it is sweet, but the quality is there. The fact that the original clear juice turns into ambery brown is a sign that parts of it use natural oils - I think it is the patchouli.
What do you think about Mariah Carey's marshmallow smell?The gloopy sweetness from the marshmallow stays with you pretty much for the whole perfume but its tastefully done, the smokiness from the base really blends well with the top notes and its a very expensive smell for what it is. Mariah did well with her first launch into the market.
